Create a Ballot Box

For 72 years, women fought for the right to place their votes into ballot boxes across the United States.  

Use the ballot box to practice democracy at home!

Instructional Video:

Materials Needed:

  • Recycled box 

  • Paper

  • Glue

  • Pens, Pencils etc. 

  • Scissors

Instructions:

1. Get all of your materials ready.

2. Trace your box on the paper and cut it out. 

3. Glue the paper onto the box.

4. Cut a hole in your box and paper so you can put your ballot in.

5. Decorate your ballot box however you would like.

6. Have your own election!
